I've been bringing my dog, Layla, to the Boerum Hill location for six years. Recently, Layla and I have been seeing Dr. Kim and I am so grateful for her knowledge, empathy, compassion, and all the help she has provided. As you can see from the photo, my dog (who is 16 now!) loves going to the vet. Thank you for everything you do! Highly recommend!
Our cat was having severe dental problems and suffering terribly and we couldn’t find a place that would schedule dental surgery for him in less than 2 months. We called all over town. The caring folks at One Love took him in and arranged a surgery for him in a few days. We’re so relieved! They were all so sweet. Plus their prices were lower than most other places where we tried to get him seen. This will be our go-to animal hospital from now on!
The staff at One Love was so helpful and caring with my cat! They were able to see us right away and treat him. Dr. Kim was very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind.

We found a friendly dog wandering around our block and brought her here to see if she had a microchip. The front desk was super helpful and wrote down all the info they could find and even tried the number for us. We were able to find the owner via the address. Thank you so much!
The office staff are so professional. They are warm and welcoming. They answer my questions and help me with finding pet insurance. The Veterinary and her assistant were so kind and gentle with my Chewy during his checkup. At the end of my chewy exam one of the other staff addressed me with instructions of how to administer his medication. In general I would recommend this dog hospital to everyone.
Great place and great people. The vets, the techs and the reception staff are all kind and knowledgeable. They are so good with my cats. Highly recommend one love.
Absolutely above and beyond. Fit me in for a same day appointment (even though I’ve moved out of Manhattan, and hadn’t been in years) to see my dog who is having issues with her tongue. Super thorough and resourceful. I love both the Doctors. My dog says it’s worth the trip into the city :)
STAFF AMAZING, shout out to Dr. Meltzer!! She has gone far and beyond to make sure my cat has everything needed for international travel. The office, the staff and treatment is top tier. We've been coming both here and the Bay Ridge location for a decade now and have always been impressed. Today, they were able to squeeze my cat in after he had a dizzy spell. They never nickel and dime us, and are always up front about charges, as well as show legitimate care and compassion for our animals. Highly recommended vet.
The staff are all professional however you immediately feel relaxed and they somehow managed to make this nervous mom feel as if I brought my fur baby to the best place possible. They actually make followup calls!! Loved my experience and would not consider going anywhere else from now on even though it is quite a journey for me to get there. Excellent service.
I took my dog Kiwi here for an annual check-up after moving to the area and couldn't be happier with the care received! Dr. Kim took lots of time to sit with us and played with Kiwi while listening to our concerns and explaining everything clearly and compassionately. Kiwi has needed a muzzle at past vet visits but this time she stayed calm thanks to Dr. Kim and assistant Germain's great positive energy.
