One Love Animal Hospital Petcentric Health Faqs
We are excited to offer our canine (puppy, adult, senior) and feline (kitten, adult, senior) plans to all pet parents. It’s one of the ways we want to say thank you! Our plans can be used for a variety of services and appointments at our hospital.
No. Unlike traditional pet insurance, this primary care plan is designed to help pet parents afford primary wellness care, as well as provide an in-hospital credit, also called a pet Flexible Spend Allowance. Normally, the majority of your annual expected pet health expenses are not covered by pet insurance. A primary care plan also has no breed, age, or preexisting condition restrictions! This is a subscription-based plan designed by the HOSPITAL TEAM and allows you to budget for your pet’s expenses via a monthly primary care subscription plan.
PetCentric Health partners with vets to provide a solution that allows pet parents to pay for their pet’s care through a monthly subscription offering. Each plan is designed and customized by vets for their unique pet parents and includes what they recommend for a year of healthcare! This ensures pets receive a holistic primary care foundation to increase the likelihood of better health outcomes over time. It also allows you to have better financial control and predictability regarding your pet’s healthcare spend.
We offer Kitten, Adult, and Senior Feline plans, and Puppy, Adult, and Senior Canine plans, encompassing all your cat’s or dog’s preventative care annual needs, as well as an in-hospital credit for additional needs like dental cleaning, sick visits and more. If you don’t need your in-hospital credit during the year, 75% of the unused balance rolls over to the next plan year.
Same-Day Urgent Care FAQS
Yes. During our regular business hours, we offer same-day evaluation for many urgent but stable conditions, including wounds, limping, sudden pain, eye irritation, and minor injuries. If your pet is injured or suddenly uncomfortable during the day, we encourage you to call us first so we can help guide next steps.
Not every pet injury requires a 24-hour emergency hospital. If your pet is alert, responsive, and stable during regular business hours, calling your regular veterinarian is often the best first step. Our team can assess your pet’s condition and let you know whether same-day care is appropriate or if emergency referral is needed.
We provide same-day urgent and emergency evaluation during our regular office hours. Our medical team is prepared to assess and stabilize urgent conditions and guide emergency referral when advanced or overnight care is required.
During regular hours, we commonly evaluate and treat:
- Cuts, scrapes, and puncture wounds
- Bite wounds
- Limping or sudden pain
- Paw pad injuries
- Eye irritation or trauma
- Broken nails
- Skin tears and hot spots
Early evaluation can reduce complications and help determine whether advanced care is necessary.
If you’re unsure, we recommend calling us during regular business hours. Our veterinary team can help assess the situation, provide guidance, and determine whether same-day care or emergency referral is appropriate.
